Position Purpose:

Responsible for the implementation, support and troubleshooting of the company’s customer SD WAN solutions thereby ensuring customer satisfaction and product growth

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Matric qualification
  • Network+, CCNA or similar vendor qualification, CCNP R&S or similar vendor qualification, vendor specific SD WAN certification

 

Minimum Experience:

  • 5-8 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry deploying and supporting networking technologies and SD WAN solutions

 

Other Requirements:

  • Must be willing to work overtime, if required

 

Key performance areas:

Stage and / or troubleshoot white box SD WAN CPEs

  • Receive tickets logged and respond to request from NOC, Projects, or Customers. Resolve the ticket efficiently and as quickly as possible. Provide NOC and Customers with regular progress updates.

Implement C-RAN® SD WAN customer solutions

  • Receive tickets logged and respond to request from NOC or Projects. Implement the required solution as quickly and efficiently as possible. Provide NOC and Projects with regular progress updates.

 

Support C-RAN® SD WAN customer solutions

  • Receive tickets logged and respond to request from NOC or Projects. Diagnose possible errors and take appropriate corrective action to resolve problem. Provide NOC and Customers with regular progress updates

Troubleshoot C-RAN® SD WAN customer solutions

  • Receive tickets logged and respond to request from NOC or Projects .Diagnose possible errors and take appropriate corrective action to resolve problem. Provide NOC and Customers with regular progress updates

Design and develop C-RAN® SD WAN customer solutions

  • Receive requests from Sales or Solutions Architect. Provide required design documentation as requested as quickly as possible.

 

Competencies Required:

Knowledge

  • Thorough knowledge of networking technologies such as Ethernet, MPLS and Internet
  • Thorough knowledge of SD WAN architecture, design, and deployment
  • Thorough knowledge of LAN and WLAN and associated technologies
  • Knowledge of security technologies such as next-generation firewalls
  • Knowledge of customer service principles

  • Skilled in the implementation and support of networking technologies such as MPLS and Internet
  • Skilled in the designing, deploying, and supporting of SD WAN networks
  • Skilled in the implementation of LAN and WLAN technologies
