SAP BW Reporting Consultant (Project Lead) | IT Recruitment

Minimum year of experience:

  • 12-15 years’ experience in Reporting / Data Analytics
  • 8+ years’ sound and professional experience as a Project Lead
  • At least 5-8 full cycle Application implementations experience (project preparation to implementation)


Role Level:

  • Chief Expert (0695)


Minimum qualifications required:

  • Relevant IT / Business Degree


Role Task:

  • Actively engages the client to ensure alignment across all aspects of the product (capacity, budget, resourcing, challenges, planning, new initiatives, innovation etc.)
  • Active involvement in Agile ceremonies, example Scrums
  • Pro-actively manages all IT aspects of the Aftersales reporting solution
  • Manages resources’ capacities across different projects and timelines
  • Prepares project cost budgets, timeframe estimates and milestones in conjunction with detailed client project plans
  • Manages interdepartmental and customer expectations and stakeholder engagement
  • Monitors project performance, progress, and risk status, including risk mitigating plans
  • Reports on project status and financials to customer and management team
  • Ensure adherence to system security measures with IT Security Expert
  • Manages development and operations of applications & features
  • Go-live preparation and post Go-live support


Generic Technical / Functional skills:

  • Possesses a sound technical background (SAP BW, SAP ABAP, SAP BO) to remove obstacles encountered by the reporting teams
  • Experience with interfaces to SAP and non-SAP systems or other IT environments
  • Solution and Cloud architecture experience
  • Proactively propose solutions to improve the support of (new) business processes
  • You will be responsible for the coordination of the technical implementation


Specific Technical / Functional skills:

  • Understand the relevant Aftersales business processes: Logistics, Sales would be highly advantageous
  • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) would be advantageous
