Sales Administrator

Role:

An Internal Sales Administrator is responsible for supporting the sales team by managing the administrative tasks related to the sales process.

They provide administrative support by accurately processing a large volume of quotes and orders and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely delivery; maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activity; responding  to customer enquiries and providing excellent customer service; generating reports and analyzing data to identify trends and opportunities; accurately capturing, maintaining and updating customer information in the CRM tool, providing support for sales presentations and meetings and participating  in team meetings, sales calls and providing  feedback to improve processes and procedures.

Competency Requirements:

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of the ISP / VOIP sector.
  • Customer Service (internal and external customers).

Skills:

  • Ability to capture large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong numerical literacy.
  • Communication Skills; verbal and written.
  • Computer literacy; intermediate Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word essential.
  • Planning and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Ability to handle different personalities and styles.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Matric Certificate.
  • Diploma or equivalent preferable

Minimum Experience:

  • 2  to 5 years experience, especially in a sales environment would be advantageous or equivalent preferable.
