Technical Skills:

Main technologies we use to power our clients in the cloud:

  • C# to write backend code
  • TypeScript with Angular and React for building frontends
  • Azure for our infrastructure in the cloud
  • Event Grid, EventHub and Service Bus for sending messages
  • MS SQL Server and Cosmos DB for storing our data
  • Terraform and Azure Bicep for our infrastructure as code

Key responsibilities and accountabilities include:

  • Develop, design, and implement solutions in the related projects.
  • Embrace test driven development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise and deliver to milestones.
  • Task ownership and responsible for quality delivery
  • Ability to work independently once given tasks and interact with people from all areas of the organisation.
  • Team player and good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Passionate about technology and have a view of development trends
  • Ability to work with design documents including business requirements specifications, detailed process/data flow diagrams, systems capabilities, interfaces, and business processes.
  • Implement system development solutions to best meet the requirements.

Essential Experience

  • Deep experience of the Azure Platform and .NET framework and related technologies: C#, .Net Web API Rest API.
  • Must have advanced experience in Object oriented programming, data structures, software design patterns
  • Experience in Agile / Kanban.
  • Experience with APIM, App Services, Function Apps
  • Azure Authentication & Authorization
  • Release Management and CI/CD pipeline deployment (ADO, ARM & Bicep)
  • PowerShell & Azure CLI www.plusonex.com

Advantageous Experience:

  • Experience with using Open API specification for designing and consuming API’s
  • Experience with integration and cloud design patterns.

Minimum certifications:

  • Matric Certificate / National Senior certificate.
  • IT degree/diploma (BSc in Computer Science or equivalent)
  • Microsoft Azure certifications
  • Exam AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps and Microsoft Certified Azure Developer
  • Exam AZ-203
