Summary of Role
A 3D automotive designer translates initial sketches and conceptual ideas into detailed, functional, and production-ready three-dimensional models. They collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to ensure designs meet aerodynamic, ergonomic, and manufacturing constraints while maintaining the brand’s aesthetic vision.
Requirement:
• Concept Modeling: Translate 2D sketches and digital concepts into 3D surfaces and forms using specialized automotive software.
• Software Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard 3D modeling and rendering tools such as Autodesk Alias, Autodesk VRED, Blender, CATIA, or Siemens NX.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of automotive manufacturing processes, material science (carbon fibre, aluminium, plastics), and vehicle dynamics
